Gary McAvay
Gary McAvay is President of Columbia Artist Theatricals (CAT) and a member of the Board of Directors. In addition, he is a Vice President of the Board of Directors of Columbia Artists Management. Mr. McAvay hay represented numerous national tours including Grease, Tru, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor® Dreamcoat, Master Class, Cats, Annie, Evita, Chicago, STOMP, Tap Dogs, Annie Get Your Gun, Ragtime Copenhagen, South Pacific, AEROS and Jesus Christ Superstar. His co-producing credits include Bring In 'Da Noise, Bring In 'Da Funk, Sunset Boulevard, Carousel, Jelly's Last Jam, Born Yesterday, The King and I, Starlight Express, and The Bell of Amherst. Mr. McAvay holds a BFA from Denison University and an MFA from Brooklyn College. He is a member of the League of American Theatres and Producers and is the 2004 recipient of the League's Lifetime Achievement in Touring Broadway Award.
Jann Simpson
Jann Simpson is a Vice President of Columbia Artists Theatricals (CAT) and the Booking Director of Musical Theater Associates (MTA), a theatrical booking agency specializing in the on-night and split week markets. Founded in 1980 MTA was organized and operated by Ms. Simpson as a joint venture between Columbia Artists Management, Inc. (CAMI) and Troika Entertainment. Shortly thereafter MTA became a division of CAMI and Ms. simpson was named Vice President of the company. Over the next twenty years, MTA established a reputation for first class service to its customers and continues to be a leader in the growth and expansion of the touring musical theatre market in North America. In 2001 MTA became part of Columbia Artists Theatricals where Ms. Simpson continues to act as a manager for select Troika productions as well as representing the balance of the CAT roster nationwide.
Tara Troutman
Tara Troutman joined Columbia Artists Theatricals (CAT) in 1996. In addition to her duties as a Production Associate, Tara provides press and marketing direction for productions represented and/or produced by CAT. She was an Associate Producer on tours of Tap Dogs and Savion Glover in Foot Notes and served as in-house press agent for tours of Copenhagen, AEROS, and The Presidents Starring Rich Little. Prior to joining CAT, she was the Assistant Development Director at Tennessee Repertory Theatre. Tara began her professional career at Sony Music Entertainment, working in the areas of promotion and sales. She holds a B.B.A. with a Music Business Concentration from Belmont University in Nashville, TN.
Evelyn Zilberman
Evelyn Zilberman joined Columbia Artists Theatricals (CAT) in October 2004 and serves as the Associate Contact Manager for CAT. Evelyn's responsibilities include assisting in overseeing the issuance and execution of all engagement contracts for CAT's touring productions. She graduated in May of 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theater Performance from the University of Maryland, College Park. Evelyn began her theatre career as an intern for Troika Entertainment working in the areas of marketing and booking.
